The UTBAA aims to create a strong network whereby Black alumni and current undergraduates/graduate students achieve greater success through stronger connections with one another. The UTBAA also aims to connect its members more closely to the wider University of Toronto community.

Get involved
Members of the UTBAA community can get involved in the following ways:
- Volunteer with the UTBAA
- Become a mentor to an undergraduate or young member of the UTBAA
- Share your expertise in our leadership series (in-person or online sessions where experienced professionals share insights and advice with alumni and/or current students)
- Contribute to one of the UTBAA committees:
- Marketing/communication: support UTBAA on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, as well as on websites and email listservs
- Logistics and events: help provide hands-on assistance for UTBAA programming, both on and off campus
- Partnerships: take the lead on facilitating relationships and connections with fellow alumni associations and organizations willing to support the mission of the UTBAA
